I was listening the other day to Patricia Kaas' lovely "Mon mec a moi!", (alright, dates me, with what the hell) and I couldn't remember whether Mec translates as pimp or ponce. Anyone care to remind me? In the context, she (probably) used it to mean "My bloke", I appreciate.
And while I'm posting, with a lady of negotiable virtue, is it tutoyer or vousvoyer?
Hope someone can help!
