£1000 Harrods voucher! I went shopping!

I sort of 'won' a prize. A £1000 voucher for Harrods. Well I bought it off someone who doesn't live here, for £400. Bargain! My mum's friend won it in a competition they both entered.
I couldn't find anything I liked or wanted for ages..Selfridges is much better! But it had to be Harrods.
So even though I don't wear a watch or jewellrey, I got a v. exp watch, eventually. It will be worth more in the future, it's so understated and classic. I had to add a big bit more to the fund though.
I'm scared to wear it now!
I knew it was a goodie when the manager of the section came out and fawned over me and made me tea etc. FFS!
I think I must have looked like one of those scruffy eccentric millionaires, I was dressed to be killed, not kill. haha. Bag from Primark, dahling..
Very lovely diamond watch, I will wear that to my posh function this week.

Desperate times call for desperate fawning. Customer service went out of fashion for a few decades there, but now with the recession, good old-fashioned Customer Service is back.
