hi‚ I like thinking about hypothetical things and made up scenarios as a way of escaping my everyday, mundane life. who doesn't? look at how many people play the lottery or watch star trek! lol
here's a 'what if' to think about. what if one day next week it is a really bright, sunny day and you decide to go for a walk in the park. you sit down on the bench and enjoy the sunshine when a man approaches and puts a big heavy green bag down on the ground and sits next to you.
you can tell he is very excited when he says to you 'my wife is having our baby, it's due any day now' Suddenly his mobile rings and he answers it. He jumps up and shouts 'i am on my way to the hospital now'
he jumps up and scarpers quickly away, exiting the park. so you sit there for a while and think. eventually you get tired and decide to get up and leave to go home. however, you notice that the expectant father has left his big green bag in his hurry to get to the hospital. so you take a wee sneaky peak inside the bag to see if there is a name and contact address inside.
to your amazement you find that the big bag is full of money. loads of it. it's so heavy you doubt you could even carry it! it is full of bundles of 10k, atleast a hundred of them. that's 1 million pounds! here's the moral dilemma, do you try and find the guy to give him his money back or do you keep it for yourself?
i know what i would do but i want to hear your answers first and why you would choose to do it.

I'd think, wow! Then take the money out and walk off with the bag. I've always wanted a big green bag.

ROFL @ OP I'd wait for half an hour. If the chap doesn't return for the bag I'd take it to the address and hope someone would answer the door. Chances are no one will be in unless the chap lives with parents, friends etc so I'd ask the neighbours [withhold the reason why I need to see this man] which hospital the woman is having her baby in and take the bag there.

I would try my best to return the money and the bag, I could never use either with a clear conscience.

Luck and good fortune always happen to others, but.. ... I'd grab the dosh and run like the wind. Get home, lock the doors, close the curtains, get naked and dive straight into the bag [no pun intended]

Well if there was no name or address in the bag and i had no idea what hospital he was going to i would take it to a police station and hand it over with my details coz (and im not really sure about this bit ) after 6months if it is not claimed i get to keep it, so my conscience would be clear.

I would give it back... most likley they will give you a reward anways although IDK why a father- to- be would wander about carrying 1 million on the streets....! Strange that is.
