something odd

i was called today by a french guy, very sincere, very nice on fone, wanting to book me for sunday...gave me all the details of hotel, addy, fone no, room no, his mobile 0033 etc (france code) name he booked in as, name of resturant, and one around the corner....loads of info..
i said i will call hotel to be put throught ur room, just to make sure i have got all details correct? he said, ok, can u call in 1hr, im still working.
i said ok...
1hr later, i call...they dont have his name on database, the room no doesnt exist and his mob no didnt work!
he even said, can i call u sunday aft too, just to confirm u are still ok to meet? i said, of course, i would expect to talk on sunday anyway to confirm.
weird!!! sounded so sincere! well, i wont be going!
so if u get a call from a french guy staying at marriot 140 park lane...dont bother.

ok! now i know im right! what name and details did he give u? its my first scam call, i would never not check, even tho he sounded sooo real and sincere. my scam radar has served me well, but this one was a good one! pls pm me details

it was meant to be tomoz, sunday lunch till eve... i was checking him 1hr after he called!
it was all wrong.. so weird!
i wont be travelling to anywhere till i know its legit, so i know im ok, im at home, didnt get ready etc... its just so odd for someone to do that tho. well, i survived my first scammer!?
and u know what? its thanks to u girls i know about this odd fone thingy!

oh another sweet talker by email at first....sounded great, on the river for dinner etc...he lives at butlers wharf, very nice, near me...
get an email today, saying can i call u tonite, im driving back to london? so i say yes....well, he did, and i was in sainsburys! had a laugh about customers ear wigging.
i said i will be home in half hr? ill call u back to let u know.
his fone was switched off.
i dont get what the "prize" is? hes gained nothing, except a few pounds fonebill. i could see it, if the girl turns up and hes not there, but this bizzare behaviour? surely they know we check details before we leave for outcall bookings?

well....butlers wharf dude was ok in the end! i thought id been done, scammed again in 2 days!
he sent me text, was on fone to new york for hrs....then text me eventually....we did meet, total gentleman, off to dinner on the river as he said, he was flying to NY at 6am, so it was just dinner! had a great time, and u shouldve seen the house! (only for a coffee) he must be a millionaire, wow. lucky me! happy ending...

mines isnt rude, just annoying! number ends 3656. he hasnt called today! prob harmless, but its all, what is ur real job? u look great on ur pics, where are u now, 25 fonecalls, hes on my fone as "pest" i told him too.

amelie, i think it might be the "adam" always on about ur pics being so nice etc? does he call u honey and baby and darling all the time? its so cringy, i cant bear anyone calling me that when its a stranger, ugh! he sent me a pic of him....what can i say, it was mr bean!
